GJH Pensions are thrilled to support the Boys’ Brigade (BB) as our charity partner.
Founded in 1883, the BB provide invaluable support to children and young people through a programme of activities. Each week, across the UK, 40,000 members attend one of the 1,200 available locations – known as a ‘Company’.
The BB help children and young people develop important life skills and encourage members to make a real difference in their communities. Members are recognised through the BB award scheme with the highest award being the Queen’s badge.
Notable past members of the Boys’ Brigade include Gordon Brown, Jonathan Ross, Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr (Stormzy) and Sir Alex Ferguson. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is Patron of the Boys’ Brigade.
We are proud to be part of a charity that provides such an important service, through their 10,000 volunteers, to children and young people across the UK.
